Closure scheduled for Lancaster Avenue/KY 52 in Madison County
The EKU Homecoming Parade
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 12, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for Lancaster Avenue/KY 52 in Richmond. The temporary closure is necessary for the Eastern Kentucky University Homecoming parade to be held.
Friday, Oct. 13 – 5:30 p.m. until approximately 7 p.m.
Lancaster Avenue/KY 52
- a closure will be in effect between the Eastern Bypass (milepoint 10.8) and Main Street (milepoint 11.7)
- signage will be in place to alert the traveling public of the closure
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
