Crews to replace cross drains
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the closure of a section of KY 316 beginning tomorrow, September 14, in Trimble County.
KY 316 will be closed from mile point 0 (U.S. 421) to mile point 0.2465 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., as crews complete the installation of cross drains.
Crews will place a layer of dense-grade rock on the drains until asphalt can be laid, and motorists should use caution when crossing the newly replaced cross drains. Drivers should expect to detour around the work zone as crews complete the installation along the route.
