Bridge Deck Repair Scheduled for
KY 1033 in Hopkins County
Work will begin Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 30, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a daytime work-zone lane restriction in Hopkins County on KY 1033 (Vandetta Road) beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5th, 2023.
KY 1033 will be restricted to one lane north of Eastwood Rd near mile point 3 to allow for bridge deck repairs. Motorists should be prepared to encounter one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
This work zone is expected to be active from approximately 6:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. each day.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Repairs are scheduled to be completed before Friday, Sept. 15th, 2023.
