Crews constructing new interchange ramps
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 29, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures on Interstate 71 North and South at KY 2857 (LaGrange Parkway) between mile marker 19.5 and mile marker 21.5 in Oldham County, beginning tonight, August 29.
Crews will work to construct new interchange ramps between KY 53 and KY 393, requiring a right lane closure of I-71 North through Wednesday, August 30. Additionally, the right lane on I-71 South will be closed Thursday, August 31. All lane closures will take place nightly from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Motorists should heed restrictions, proceed through the work zone with caution, or seek an alternate route. The expected completion date for the interchange project is the fall of 2024.
