Bridge deck repairs scheduled for Interstate 75 NB in Fayette County
The Newtown Pike/KY 922 Overpass Bridge
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 9, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled closures for Interstate 75 NB in Lexington. The temporary closures are necessary for bridge deck repair operations. The location is the Newtown Pike/KY 922 Overpass Bridge (H520/034/B00089/I75).
Wednesday, June 14 – 6:30 p.m. until 12 a.m. (midnight)
Interstate 75 - Northbound
- the right/slow lane will be closed
- the Newtown Pike/KY 922 On Ramp to Interstate 75 Northbound will be closed
Alternate Route:
- motorists can utilize Newtown Pike/KY 922 to Ironworks Pike/KY 1973 to the Interstate 75 Northbound Ramp
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
