New Traffic Signal on KY 880 Lovers Lane in
Bowling Green to Become Operational Next Week
Two traffic signals are scheduled for removal
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (April 27, 2023) – Motorists in Bowling Green should be aware that a brand new traffic signal on KY 880 Lovers Lane is expected to become operational next week. The City of Bowling Green's Ken Bale Boulevard extension project will create a new intersection with KY 880 with a new traffic signal.
The new signal is currently installed, but not turned on yet. The signal is expected to become operational Tuesday, May 2 around 9 a.m. There are two more signals in the area on KY 880 which will receive changes. The signal on KY 880 at the intersection with Fruit of the Loom Drive will be put on flash for several days before being permanently removed. The traffic signal on KY 880 at the intersection with Middle Bridge Road will also be put on flash for several days before being permanently removed.
Motorists should use caution and expect delays in this area as work will still be going with workers present.
