Update - Ashgrove Road/KY 1980 project in Jessamine County
Between US 27 (MP 3.205) and Young Drive (MP 5.016)
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 24, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises that this news release is an update for the project on Ashgrove Road/KY 1980. The scope of the project includes widening and curve reconstruction. The anticipated completion date is October 31, 2023.
Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 – between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day

The project limits: between US 27 (milepoint 3.205) and Young Drive (milepoint 5.016)
- tree removal operations will in effect
- alternating lane closures will be in place
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
