Various Lane Closures for Concrete Median Install on KY 18 (Burlington Pike) in Boone County
Crews begin work starting Today until Monday, April 3
COVINGTON, Ky. (March 13, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists of various lane closures on KY 18 (Burlington Pike) in Boone County starting Today, March 13, to allow crews to install a concrete median.
Crews will be working daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lane closures are in place on KY 18 from the overpass over Interstate 71/75 to just past the TA travel center. (15 to 15.3 mile markers)
The middle lane will be closed on the exit ramp from I-71/75 southbound to Burlington Pike (KY 18). The far-right lane on the KY 18 overpass over I-71/75 will also be closed. Once motorists approach the travel center, they will be shifted back to the right lane away from the work zone area.
Messages boards and signage are in place to notify and guide motorists.
The work has a completion date of Monday, April 3.
