Daytime Closure Scheduled for Utility Installation on KY 582 Knott County
Work begins Monday, March 13
KNOTT COUNTY (March 8, 2023) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a two-day daytime closure along KY 582 at the intersection of Meadow Lark Road for utility installation. The road will be closed at mile marker 7.2 (3.5 miles West of KY 1393).
Work will occur Monday, March 13, and Tuesday, March 14, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. Crews will install a waterline under KY 582 as part of a bridge replacement project on Meadow Lark Road.
Motorists, including emergency vehicles, will need to use an alternate route during working hours. Work is subject to change based on weather conditions.
