Update - Lancaster Road/KY 52 project in
Madison County
The relocation of Lancaster Road/KY 52 between milepoints 1.0 and 6.83
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 3, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises that this news release serves as an update. The continuing project is the relocation of Lancaster Road/KY 52. The route change will be from Wallace Mill Road to the Duncannon Lane/KY 2872 and Interstate 75 Interchange.
The project limits include: between existing milepoint 1.0 and extending to the new portion of roadway that will become milepoint 6.83. The anticipated date of completion is November 1, 2024
Monday, March 6 through Friday, June 30 – 7 a.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Friday
Peytontown Road (county route)
- a closure to all traffic will be in effect between Mason Road and Rowlett Road (county routes)
- access for motorists will be provided from the Lancaster Road/KY 52 outlet of Peytontown Road and the Duncannon Lane/KY 2872 outlet
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
