Repairs scheduled for Georgetown Road/US 25 in Fayette County
Temporary closures necessary
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 22, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled work for Georgetown Road/US 25. Repairs will take place on US 25 and adjacent to Nandino Boulevard and Mercer Road.
Thursday, Feb. 23 through Friday, Feb. 24 – 4 a.m. Thursday until 8 p.m. Friday
Georgetown Road/US 25
- a closure will be in effect for the right turn lane off of Nandino Boulevard and the right/slow lane on Georgetown Road/US 25 (milepoint 16.4)
- a closure will be in place for the right turn lane going onto Mercer Road (milepoint 16.3)
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
