Operations scheduled for West Main Street in Lexington
Concrete repairs between milepoints 0.0 and 0.3
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 7, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of work for West Main Street in downtown Lexington, Fayette County. Concrete pavement repair operations are scheduled. Lane closures are necessary for the concrete to cure.
Monday, Feb. 13 through Friday, Feb. 17 - 3 a.m. Monday until 7 p.m. Friday
Monday, Feb. 20 through Friday, Feb. 24 - 3 a.m. Monday until 7 p.m. Friday
West Main Street
- single lane closures will be in effect for both directions
- the section for the repair work is adjacent to the Lexington Cemetery
- access to the cemetery will be provided while the lane closures are in place
Motorists should be aware of the temporary change for the traffic pattern and utilize caution.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
