Rescheduled repairs for New Circle Road/KY 4 in Fayette County
Between Harrodsburg Road/US 68 and Georgetown Road/US 25
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 6, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this advisory serves as an update. Work is now rescheduled due to the incidents currently on New Circle Road/KY 4. Repairs will include pothole patching and wedging bridge ends.
Note: operations will not be in effect today (Monday, Feb. 6)
Tuesday, Feb. 7 – 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
New Circle Road/KY 4
Location for repairs:
- between Harrodsburg Road/US 68 (milepoint 2.224) and Georgetown Road/US 25 (milepoint 8.731)
The cycle below will be repeated until all lanes have been repaired:
- work will begin on the Outer Loop (left/fast lane) at Georgetown Road//US 25 and progress to the Inner Loop at Harrodsburg Road/US 68 (left/fast lane)
Pothole patching is a mobile operation ---- motorists are advised to watch for signage and flashing arrows directing of the ongoing work.

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
