Update - Operations for the Eastern Bypass/KY 876 in Madison County
The EKU Pedway at milepoint 8.2
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 8, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Work will continue next week and impact the Eastern Bypass/KY 876 in Madison County. A temporary lane closure will be necessary for continued overhead work on the pedway.
Monday, Dec. 12 through Friday, Dec. 16 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day
The Eastern Bypass/KY 876
- a lane closure will be in effect between Lancaster Avenue (milepoint 8.15) and Veterans Boulevard (milepoint 8.33)
- the lane for closure will vary each day
- only one lane will be impacted at a time
- motorists can pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
