Update - US 68X Rehabilitation Project in

Bourbon County

Between milepoints 0.0 and 1.9

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 10, 2022)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this advisory serves as an update. Operations continue for the US 68X/Main and High Streets project in Paris, Bourbon County. The new completion date for the project is June 2023. Change orders and utility delays have altered the finalization timeframe.

Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, through Friday, June 30, 2023 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays (times are approximate)

US 68X/Main and High Streets

  • work is in progress between milepoints 0.0 and 1.9
  • a water line is currently being installed by the City of Paris through subcontractors
  • one lane of traffic is open at all times
  • there are occasional traffic stoppages for allowing trucks to enter and leave the roadway

All work/closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes:  Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
