Operations scheduled for Tyrone Pike/US 62 in Woodford County
Sidewalk improvements, asphalt repairs, paving and striping
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 4, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled work for Tyrone Pike/US 62. The operations include sidewalk improvements, asphalt repairs, paving and striping. The anticipated completion date is Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Monday, Nov 7 through Tuesday, Nov. 15
Project location:
- 1000 feet west of Falling Springs/KY 2113 (milepoint 5.136) to the US 60X downtown intersection (milepoint 7.048) for Main Street and Lexington Street
Hours of work for weekdays:
- 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
- 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Tyrone Pike/US 62
- operations will be in effect during both day and evening hours
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zones
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
