Road Closure scheduled for KY 1410 in Knott County
Soil Nail Repairs begin this week near Burgeys Creek
KNOTT COUNTY (Nov. 2, 2022) – The Kentucky Department of Transportation advises motorists of a temporary closure along KY 1410 near Burgeys Creek in Knott County at mile point 0.96 (.96 miles East of KY 160) and mile point 1.8 (1.8 miles East of KY 160).
A soil nail embankment repair will begin Monday, Nov. 7 at 8 a.m and continue for approximately six to eight weeks. Crews will repair one site at a time beginning with mile point 0.96. Due to the narrow road widths, the road will be closed at the work sites during this time.
Motorists will need to use an alternate route and pay attention to signage in the area.
GSI has been contracted to perform the work. Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
