Update - New Circle Road/KY 4 Project in
Fayette County
Milling and paving continues as part of the resurfacing project
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Operations continue for New Circle Road/KY 4 in Lexington, Fayette County. The work is part of the ongoing resurfacing project.
Thursday, Oct. 27 through Friday evening, Oct. 28/Saturday morning, Oct. 29 – 7 p.m. evenings until 6 a.m. the following mornings
Monday, Oct. 31 through Friday evening, Nov. 4/Saturday morning, Nov. 5 – 7 p.m. evenings until 6 a.m. the following mornings
New Circle Road/KY 4
Milling and paving continues as part of the resurfacing project for the following areas:
- between Nicholasville Road/US 27 (milepoint 0.00) and Harrodsburg Road/US 68 (milepoint 2.224)
- between Tates Creek Road/KY 1974 (milepoint 17.758) and Nicholasville Road/US 27 (milepoint 19.283)
- alternating lane closures will be in effect --- motorists will be able to pass through the work zones
Note: potential ramp closures may be scheduled between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Motorists should remain aware of the work zones and utilize alternate routes to avoid delays.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
