- I-64: The I-64 West off-ramps to 22nd Street and the I-64 East on-ramps from 22nd Street will be closed intermittently from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Tuesday, Oct. 25. No work will take place over the weekend. The duration of these intermittent closures will be about 30 minutes. A contractor is milling and resurfacing the ramps as part of a paving project for 22nd Street between Northwestern Parkway and Owen Street.

I-65 South: Single-lane closures through Dec. 16 on the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge, which carries I-65 South over the Ohio River. The lane closures will be contained to either the far-right or far-left lanes. Digital message signs will be placed on I-65 South notifying motorists of the work well in advance of the closures. The bridge is undergoing a federally-mandated inspection of its metal welds. There will be no lane closures during the Thanksgiving holiday. The Abraham Lincoln Bridge, which carries I-65 North over the river, will not be impacted.
- U.S. 31E (Bardstown Road): Overnight lane closures and delays have been extended through the morning of Saturday, Oct. 22, from Bonnycastle Avenue to Broadway for milling and paving. Resurfacing work will resume on Monday, Oct. 24, with the goal of being completed by Saturday, Oct. 28. Drivers will be directed through these work zones via flagging operations. Motorists take note: On-street parking will be restricted. No parking signs will be posted within the project limits.

U.S. 31E (Bardstown Road): Lane shifts and delays are possible at Southpointe Boulevard for intersection improvements. The intersection is being reconstructed to include dual turn lanes. The work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2023.

U.S. 31E (Buechel Bypass): Right lane of the bridge closed over the Norfolk Southern Railroad (mile point 10.4). The contractor is on site and working under the bridge where they are not visible to motorists crossing the span. The contractor is still coordinating with the railroad to be able to cross the tracks to finish the repairs. The project is expected to be completed no later than spring 2023.
- U.S. 150 (22nd Street): Daily lane closures and delays are possible between Owen Street and Northwestern Parkway for paving and the installation of pavement markings. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 61 (Jackson Street): Daily lane closures and delays are possible between the I-65 ramp extending east to Muhammad Ali Boulevard for paving and installation of pavement markings. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 913 (Blankenbaker Parkway): Overnight lane closures are possible from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Ellingsworth Lane and U.S. 60 (Shelbyville Road) for striping operations. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.
- KY 1065 (Outer Loop): The right lane of westbound Outer Loop will be closed at Grade Lane to reconstruct the intersection. This project is expected to be completed fall in 2022.

KY 1450 (Blue Lick Road): Weekday lane closures are possible on Blue Lick Road between Gene Snyder and Preston Highway for road widening work. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2023.

KY 1934 (Cane Run Road): Daytime lane closures and delays are possible between I-264 and Ralph Avenue as crews apply pavement markings. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 2860 (Grinstead Drive): Overnight lane closures and delays are possible from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. between U.S. 31E (Bardstown Road) at mile point 0 and U.S. 60A (Cherokee Parkway) at mile point 0.968 for striping operations. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. Motorists should take note that on-street parking will be affected. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 2050 (Herr Lane/Lyndon Lane): Daytime lane closures and delays are possible between KY 146 and Moredale Road for an asphalt paving project. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 3082 (Bank Street): Daily lane closures and delays are possible between 38th Street and 22nd Street for the installation of pavement markings. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2022.
BULLITT COUNTY
- I-65 North: The right lane will be closed from 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, to 12 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from mile marker 107 to mile marker 109. That’s between Exit 105 for KY 61 Boston/Lebanon Junction and Exit 112 for KY 245 Clermont/Bardstown. The closure is for concrete slab repairs. Motorists should heed signage and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

KY 480 (Cedar Grove Road): Weekday lane closures and delays are possible between Omega Parkway and Valley View Drive for work involving the road widening project. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2023.
FRANKLIN COUNTY

I-64 East & West: Lane closures and delays are possible from mile marker 47 to mile marker 52 as a contractor moves barrier walls at KY 151 (Graefenburg Road) near mile point 46 along with the work at KY 2817 (Cardwell Lane) near mile point 52 for an ongoing bridge replacement project. The four sets of bridges being replaced are over KY 2817 (Cardwell Lane) at mile point 51.5, KY 151 (Graefenburg Road) at mile point 46.4, South Benson Creek at mile point 49.1, and KY 1665 (Evergreen Road) at mile point 49.8. The project is expected to be completed in late fall 2023.

U.S. 60 (Versailles Road): Lane configuration change takes effect at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, between Jett Boulevard/Chenault Road and KY 1681 (Duncan Road) at the I-64 interchange. Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the work zone. The route is being widened for additional left-turn lanes to the Interstate 64 eastbound and westbound on-ramps. Another right-turn lane will also be constructed on the I-64 westbound off-ramp to U.S. 60. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 1659 (Glenns Creek Road/McCracken Pike): Full roadway closure due to 500-foot slide caused by heavy rain and flooding. The slide is between Glenns Creek Road/McCracken Pike/KY 1659 (mile marker 1) and Harrod Carter Concrete (mile marker 2) in Franklin County. Motorists should follow the signed detour: Duncan Road/KY 1681 to Versailles Road/U.S. 60 (in Woodford County) to the East-West Connector/KY 676 (in Franklin County). KYTC anticipates soliciting bids for the repair project this winter with the goal of starting construction in summer 2023.
HENRY COUNTY

KY 146 (LaGrange Road): Daily lane closures and delays are possible from the east end of Bartlett Fork Bridge (mile point 6.5) extending east to U.S. 421 (mile point 9.8) for milling and asphalt paving. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.

KY 389 (River Road): Lane closed at mile point 13.5. That is near the junction of KY 389 and KY 202. Crews will be repairing a slide. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via temporary traffic signals at each end of the job site. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in fall 2022.
OLDHAM COUNTY

KY 53 (South First Street): From the I-71 South ramp to Crystal Drive, a new traffic configuration will be in place, and lane closures may also be possible for work related to the intersection’s widening. In addition, a lane closure will be possible on the I-71 South exit 22 for KY 53 Ballardsville and LaGrange. The ramp will remain open. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2022.

(New Moody Lane): Complete road closure from KY 2857 (LaGrange Parkway) to LaGrange Wastewater Treatment Plant entrance in preparation for the construction of the new interchange on I-71. Motorists should seek an alternate route via Eden Parkway. The expected completion date for the project will be fall 2024.
SHELBY COUNTY

KY 53 (Mt. Eden Road): Work to widen a portion of the roadway from St. Regis Drive at mile point 6.4 to U.S. 60 at mile point 8. Two lanes of traffic will remain open to motorists throughout the project duration. The project is expected to be completed in late fall 2022.

KY 55: Safety improvements will take place between KY 155 in Spencer County and KY 148 (Finchville Road) in Shelby County. The construction includes widening shoulders, an extension of culvert pipes, ditch cleaning, and tree clearing. The project also includes curve realignments. KY 55 may be reduced to one lane of traffic during the project. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations and temporary traffic signals. There are no time restrictions on daily lane closures. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2023.

KY 1848 (Todd’s Point Road): Safety improvements will take place between Grand Central Drive at mile point 6.4 and KY 362 (Aiken Road) at mile point 10.6. Safety improvements include ditching operations to improve drainage, adding shoulders to eliminate the current drop-offs in certain areas, new signage, and a curve realignment. During construction, KY 1848 may be reduced to one lane during daytime hours. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flaggers. The project is expected to be completed by late fall 2022.
SPENCER COUNTY

KY 652 (Little Union Road): Lane closures and delays are possible from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at mile marker 5. That’s where KY 652 runs parallel with Camp Branch between Edmondson Road and KY 55 (Bloomfield Road). Crews will be making slide repairs. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations.

KY 2814 (Whitfield Road): Daily lane closures and delays are possible from KY 1319 (King’s Church Road) to near Ridgecrest Drive and Masters Lane for asphalt resurfacing. Motorists will be directed through the work zone via flagging operations. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2022.
