Blockage in effect for the
Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002 in Anderson County
Eastbound bridge between milepoints 59.0 and 62.0 over the KY River
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a blockage in effect for the Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002. The closure is due to a traffic incident that occurred earlier today. The location is near the Anderson-Woodford County line.
Tuesday, Oct. 11 – currently and until approximately 7 p.m.
The Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002
- a temporary closure is in effect for the Bluegrass Parkway bridge over the KY River
- the Eastbound side of the bridge is completely closed between milepoints 59.0 and 62.0 (Exit 59)
- all traffic is being diverted onto US 127 in Anderson County
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
