Closure for Full-Width Paving along KY 575 in Hickman County on Monday, Oct 3

PADUCAH, Ky. (Sept. 29, 2022)  A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 575 in Hickman County starting Monday, October 3, 2022.

KY 575 will be paved full-width, with the roadway closed at the paving site.  The contractor will maintain local access for property owners on each side of the closure as paving progresses.

This project covers the entire length of KY 575 from mile point 0.0 at the KY 58 intersection extending northward to mile point 2.436 at the KY 123 intersection.

There will be no marked detour. There will be no through-traffic on KY 575 at the paving site until the work is completed.

Full-width paving helps to speed the paving process and provides a smoother ride when the project is completed.

Murray Paving, Inc, is the prime contractor on this highway improvement project.
