Day Time Closures Scheduled for KY 581 Johnson County
Multiple cross drain repairs begin next week in the Tutor Key area
JOHNSON COUNTY (Sept. 24, 2022)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a two-day temporary daytime closure on KY 581 In Johnson County. Crews will be repairing multiple cross drains in the Tutor Key area at mile point 3.26 (.63 miles West of KY 993 and 3.2 miles North of KY 40) beginning next week.
KYTC will work Tuesday, September 27 and Wednesday, September 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The road will be closed at the work site daily so crews can work safely on repairs. Motorists, including emergency vehicles, will need to use an alternate route during this time. Please obey posted signage and watch for equipment parked in the work zone during overnight hours.
