Daytime Closure and Power Outage for Embankment Repair on KY 3383 Floyd County
Monday, September 26 near the Slone area
FLOYD COUNTY (Sept.23, 2022)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a temporary daytime closure beginning next week for embankment repairs on KY 3383 in the Slone area of Floyd County. The road will be closed at mile point 0.3 (.5 miles west of KY 80).
Crews will work from 8 .a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, September 26, to repair the road. A scheduled power outage will also occur during this time due to the proximity of utility lines near the work zone. Power will be restored once crews have safely completed the repairs. Motorists, including emergency vehicles, will need to use an alternate route during this time. Please follow the signage and prepare for the delay.
Natco has been contracted to perform the work.
