Daytime Closure for Bridge Inspection in Floyd County

FLOYD COUNTY (Sept. 23, 2022) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a day-time bridge closure along KY 2557 in Floyd County for a routine inspection. The bridge is located in the Justell area at mile point 0.2 (.2 miles West of US 23).
Crews will perform inspections through rope access with the use of bucket trucks. Due to the amount of equipment needed for this inspection, KYTC will close the bridge on Wednesday, September 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Emergency Vehicles will be accommodated; however, all other motorists will need to plan for the delay. Please watch for signage and slow down when encountering a work zone.
