Milling & Paving along KY 125/Union City Highway in Fulton County starting Saturday, Sept. 17
Paving runs from KY 166 to KY 1099
PADUCAH, Ky. (Sept. 16 2022) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans milling and asphalt paving along a section of KY 125/Union City Highway in Fulton County starting Saturday, September 17 ,2022.
Paving along KY 125/Union City Highway runs from the KY 166/Middle Road intersection at mile point1.659 extending northward to the KY 1099/South 7th Street intersection in Hickman at mile point 5.386, a distance of about 3.2 miles.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and paving personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
The work is expected to take about a week to complete.
Murray Paving, Inc, is the prime contractor on this $716,262 highway improvement project. The target completion date is September 30, 2022.
