Closures scheduled for Russell Cave Road/KY 353 in Fayette County
Hume Bedford Road/KY 1939 and US 460
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled closures for routes in Fayette County. The temporary closures are necessary for cross drain replacement and grading operations. A signed detour will be in place for motorists to utilize.
Wednesday, Sept. 14 – 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Note: there will be no thru traffic at the county line
Russell Cave Road/KY 353
Fayette County:
- Hume Bedford Road/KY 1939 – a closure will be in effect at milepoint 10.323 (near the county line)
Bourbon County:
- US 460 – a closure will be in effect at milepoint 1.063 (the county line)
Detour:
- Russell Cave Road/KY 353 to Hume Bedford Road/KY 1939 to Greenwich Pike/KY 1876 in Fayette County to US 460 in Bourbon County
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
