KY 16 Resurfacing Project in Kenton County to Start Tomorrow, Sept. 8
COVINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 7, 2022) – A resurfacing project on KY 16 in Kenton County will start tomorrow, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The project area is from Promontory Drive to East 42nd Street. Crews will complete repair of base failures Thursday and Friday.
Nighttime operations will begin Sunday, Sept. 11, from 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. for traffic light replacement. Resurfacing work will follow, starting on Sept. 14 from 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.
During work hours there will be a varying single lane closure, but two-way traffic will always be maintained. Motorists should be alert when approaching and traveling through the work zone. Slow down, eliminate distractions, and watch for crews and equipment.
