Operations in effect for Liberty Road/KY 1927 in Fayette County
Milling and paving as part of the resurfacing project
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 24, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of alternating lane closures for Liberty Road/KY 1927. The temporary closures are necessary for milling and paving operations. The work is part of the resurfacing project.
Wednesday, August 24 through Thursday, August 25 – currently and until 6 a.m. Thursday
Liberty Road/KY 1927
- the location for the work is between New Circle Road/KY 4 Eastbound (MP 0.000) and 310 feet East of Forest Hills Drive (MP 2.580)
- alternating lane closures will be in effect
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
