KY 970/Highland Church Rd in McCracken County Closed Again on Wednesday, July 27

Closure for additional cross drain work from 8 a.m., to 2 p.m., CDT, Wednesdaty

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 26, 2022)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 970/Highland Church Road in McCracken County again on Wednesday July 27, 2022.

KY 970/HIghland Church Road will be closed near the 3 mile marker to allow a cross drain to be replaced between Rushing Road and Phipps Street.

KY 970/Highland Church Road is expected to close at this site promptly at 8 a.m., CDT, Wednesday  The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic around 2 p.m., CDT, on Wednesday.

There will be no marked detour.

In case of rain, this project will move to Thursday, July 28.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely updates should the roadway reopen earlier than expected.
