Paving Operations for KY 81 in Muhlenberg County Begins Today
Work will be addressed between Bremen and S. Carrollton Road
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (July 19, 2022) – Asphalt resurfacing on KY 81 in Muhlenberg County is scheduled to begin today, July 19. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible.
KY 81 (25.290) begins at US 431 extending North to KY 2584 (MP 2.207), a distance of 02.20 miles of asphalt resurfacing.
The contractor will address base failures prior to paving operations. Completion is scheduled for the fall.
Scotty's Contracting and Stone was awarded the low bid of $298,302.
Drivers should expect delays, reduced speeds, and lane restrictions. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
