Traffic Advisory: KY 111 Closed Tuesday in Bath County for Culvert Replacement
Closed Tuesday between Happy Hollow and Alcar roads; detour via KY 1944, KY 36
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (July 15, 2022) – The Kentucky Department of Highways will temporarily close KY 111 (Wyoming Road) Tuesday, July 19, between Happy Hollow Road and Alcar Road (milepoint 4.2) in Bath County. The highway will be closed there from about 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. to replace a culvert.
During construction, all thru traffic should use KY 1944 (White Oak) and KY 36 through Owingsville to navigate around the closure.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
