A Section of KY 8 in Kenton County to Close for a Slide Repair Project
COVINGTON, Ky. (July 11, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 Office advises motorists that a section of KY 8 will be closed to through traffic this week so that maintenance crews can repair a slide.
The closure will be between KY 371 (Amsterdam Road) and 1.5-miles east. The daily closure starts today, July 11 and will continue until Friday, July 15, or possibly Saturday, July 16, if needed. The closure will be during the work hours of 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.. Local traffic will have access.
Motorists should seek an alternate route during the closure. Work is weather dependent.
