KY 506/Piney Fork Road Restricted to One Lane for Bridge Work near Crittenden-Caldwell County Line Starting Tuesday, July 5

Work zone to have one-lane traffic with automated signal

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 4, 2022)  As a reminder, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone lane restriction on KY 506/Piney Fork Road in southeastern Crittenden County starting Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

KY 506/Piney Fork Road will be restricted to one lane with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal at mile point 0.344 on the Buggs Branch of Piney Creek Bridge Bridge near the Crittenden-Caldwell County Line.  This work zone is to allow deck maintenance and joint work on the bridge.

Work at this site is expected to take about 30 days to complete, weather permitting.

Harper Contracting, Inc, is the prime contractor on this $266,287 group bridge maintenance project.  The target completion date is August 5, 2022.
