Daytime Closure for KY 3418 Ridgeline Road
Beginning June 27
PIKE COUNTY (June 26, 2022) – Work starts Monday, June 27, to repair an embankment failure on KY 3418 (Ridgeline Rd) at mile point 6.27(6.2 miles west of KY 194 Grapevine) to mile point 7.6 (1.3 miles south of KY 1441 Racoon) in Pike County.
For the next three to four weeks, GeoStabilization International (GSI), the state’s contractor, will close the road at the work site from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday for soil nail repairs. The road will be open for traffic in the evenings and on Sundays. KYTC urges Motorists to use caution when traveling this area and to pay attention to signage. Emergency Vehicles will be accommodated; however, all other vehicles are encouraged to use an alternate route during daytime hours.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Contractors understand the inconvenience to the public these repairs may cause, and we will do our best to limit delays. Slow down and take extra precautions when traveling in a work zone.
