I-65 South Lane Closures Set for This Weekend

Closures for concrete slab replacement
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 21, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of Interstate 65 (Kentucky Turnpike) lane closures scheduled for this weekend in Bullitt County.
The right and middle lanes of I-65 South will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, June 24, to 12 a.m. on Monday, June 27, from mile marker 113, near the rest area, to mile marker 111. That’s between Exit 114 to Ohm Drive and Exit 105 to KY 61 (Preston Highway) for Lebanon Junction. The left lane of I-65 South will remain open to traffic.
A contractor will be replacing concrete slabs. The lanes will remain closed after crews have poured the new slabs to allow ample concrete curing time. Signs in the area will notify drivers of the work. Motorists should use caution while moving through the work zone, expect extended delays and consider an alternate route.
