KY 907 Closure Scheduled for June

in Jefferson County

A contractor will shore up a hillside to prevent soil erosion

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 26, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the closure of a section of KY 907 (Third Street Road) for five days next month in southwest Jefferson County.

KY 907 will be closed from 5 a.m. on June 6 through 5 p.m. on June 10 between Arnoldtown Road at mile point 4 and West Manslick Road at mile point 4.5. Motorists will have access to homes and businesses, but there will be no thru traffic. Contractors will be shoring up a slope to prevent erosion from damaging the road on a curve near 8311 Third Street Road. The work will require the temporary removal of the guardrail at the curve.

Electronic message boards will alert motorists of the scheduled closure. Drivers should follow this posted detour: Arnoldtown Road to KY 1931 (St. Andrews Church Road) to Palatka Road to KY 1865 (New Cut Road) and vice versa.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
