UPDATE: I-24 Eastbound Closed at SEMI Crash Site Near 32mm in Livingston County

PADUCAH, Ky. (April 29, 2022) – Livingston County 911 Dispatch reports Interstate 24 eastbound is again closed at the site of a SEMI rollover crash near the 32 mile marker in Livingston County.
This is immediately at the KY 917/Stringtown Road Overpass just west of the I-24 Cumberland River Bridge.
The eastbound lanes had to be closed to allow the truck to be recovered. KY 917/Stringtown Road is restricted to one-lane to allow debris from the crash to be cleared from the roadway below the overpass.
Estimated duration is now 2 hours or approximately 1:30 a.m., CDT.
EASTBOUND DETOUR I-24 Eastbound traffic is being detoured off at the KY 453 Grand Rivers Exit 31 Interchange to KY 453 South to then follow U.S. 63 East to the Eddyville-Kuttawa Exit 40 Interchange.
Both westbound lanes of I-24 are open and expected to remain so.
