PADUCAH, Ky. (April 22, 2022) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to establish a work zone for paving along KY 1918/Jennings Trail in Calloway County starting Monday, April 25, 2022.
This paving project along KY 1918/Jennings Trail runs from the KY 444 intersection at mile point 0.0 extending northward to the End of State Maintenance sign at mile point 3.02. This is north of the Hamlin community in eastern Calloway County.
Motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and paving personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Murray Paving, Inc., is the prime contractor on this $216,988 highway improvement project. This project is expected to take about a week to complete, weather permitting.
