Asphalt resurfacing work underway along US 119 in Pike County
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (April 5, 2022) – Asphalt resurfacing work began on Monday, April 4, along US 119 in Pike County. This work zone will be between milepoints 4.934, at the Coon Creek bridge, and 10.486. The contractor will be working between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The project will last approximately one month, weather dependent.
Emergency vehicles and school bus traffic will be accommodated. Motorists should also pay attention to equipment being parked in the work zone during daytime and overnight hours. There will be continuous traffic flow throughout the entirety of the project. District 12 asks that drivers use caution and obey speed limits to prevent any accidents within the work zone.
