KY 1020 (National Turnpike) Lane Closure in Jefferson County on Mar. 29
Bridge inspection scheduled
LOUISVILLE, KY (Mar. 28, 2022) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane closure on Tuesday, March 29, on KY 1020 (National Turnpike) in Jefferson County. KYTC bridge engineers will be performing a routine inspection of the bridge on KY 1020 over Northern Ditch River (mile point 4.9), located between Sam Drive and Yorktown Road. The northbound right lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. as the inspection team will be using a truck-mounted platform to complete this arms-length inspection of the critical bridge members. This type of inspection is required every two years.
