ALERT: I-24 Eastbound Restricted to One lane at 48.5mm in Lyon County starting at 1:30 p.m., Today
Restriction and brief closure for crash reconstruction investigation
PADUCAH, Ky. (March 22, 2022) – Interstate 24 eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane at the 48.5 mile marker in Lyon County starting at approximately 1:30 p.m., today. There will also be a brief halt of traffic at this site.
This work zone and brief traffic stoppage for i-24 eastbound is at the request of the Kentucky State Police to facilitate a crash reconstruction investigation at the site of an overnight fatality crash.
This lane restriction and brief traffic halt will be about 3 miles east of the KY 293 Eddyville-Princeton Exit 45 Interchange.
All traffic is moved to the right-hand or driving lane.
