UPDATE: Interstate 57 is Open in Missouri
I-57 reopened at multi-vehicle crash site near Charleston, MO
Charleson, MO (March 18,2022) - - Interstate 57 has reopened to traffic between Interstate 55 and the Mississippi River Bridge after a multi-vehicle crash blocked the roadway near Charleston, Mo.
I-57 reopened about 5 a.m., after being closed for about 20 hours.
The blockage created traffic snarls for miles as traffic was diverted to U.S. 60 and other nearby routes.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet shared information on the crash and blockage to alert motorists traveling on U.S. 60 from Kentucky via Illinois into Missouri.
