A Resurfacing Project for KY 17 (Madison Pike) in Kenton County to Begin

COVINGTON, Ky. (March 18, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office would like to notify the traveling public that a resurfacing project will soon begin on a section of KY 17 (Madison Pike) in Kenton County.

Work will begin Sunday night, March 20. during the hours of 6 p.m. – 6 a.m., Sunday – Friday. A single lane closure will be in place so that crews can install new traffic loops at all the signals within the project area of the I-275 interchange and Pelly Road/KY 17X (18.6 – 13.4 mile-marker).   The lane and location of the closure will change with in the project limits throughout the project, and will be removed by 6 a.m. each morning.

Milling and resurfacing is scheduled to star in late April/ early May. Updates will be provided once time and dates are confirmed.  The overall project has a June completion.
