Update - Route report for District 7
Varied issues are in effect due to inclement weather
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 7, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Separate situations are in effect for roadways in District 7.
Scott County:
Monday, March 7 – currently and until the utility company arrives to remedy the issue
Iron Works Road/KY 1973
- the road is closed at milepoint 22.50
- the closure is due to a large tree that is entangled in the power lines
- KYTC District 7 personnel are onsite monitoring the area
Anderson County:
Monday, March 7 – currently and until further notice
Avenstoke Road/KY 1875
- closed between milepoints 2.0 - 3.0 due to high water over the route
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties
