UPDATE:  Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocking All Lanes of WK Parkway at 65.5mm between Beaver Dam and Central City

Estimated duration is 4+ hours or approximately 1:30 p.m., CST.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Feb 24, 2022) –  A multi-vehicle crash is blocking all lanes of the Western Kentucky Parkway at the Green River Bridge at the 65.5 mile marker.

Reports indicate 7 vehicles are involved, including 4 SEMI trucks.

Oil and diesel fuel is spread along an extended section of the roadway that will have to be cleaned up as the site is cleared.

At this time both the eastbound and westbound lanes are blocked at this crash site.  This is along the WK Parkway between Beaver Dam and Central City at the Muhlenberg-Ohio County Line.

Estimated duration is 4+ hours or approximately 1:30 p.m., CST.

EASTBOUND Detour
Eastbound traffic is being detoured off at the U.S. 431 Central City Exit 58 Interchange to follow U.S. 431 North to U.S. 62 East to U.S. 231 South return to the WK Parkway via the U.S. 231 Beaver Dam Exit 75 Interchange.

WESTBOUND Detour
Westbound traffic is being detoured off at the U.S. 231 Beaver Dam Interchange to U.S. 231 North to U.S. 62 West to U.S. 431 South to return to the WK Parkway westbound at the U.S. 431 Central City Exit 58 Interchange.

Motorists who travel U.S. 62 between Beaver Dam and Central City should be alert for heavy traffic along the detour.
