UPDATE: I-24 Eastbound Open at Multi-Vehicle Crash near the 30mm in Livingston County
Roadway reopened at Midnight
PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 26, 2022) – Livingston County 911 Dispatch reports a multi-vehicle crash that blocked the eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 near the 30 mile marker in Livingston County has been cleared. All lanes are reopened.
The crash along I-24 eastbound between the Tennessee River Bridge and the KY 453 Grand Rivers Exit 31 Interchange cleared about mightnight.
The 911 call center received several calls indicating that 4 or 5 cars may have been involved. On arrival, emergency response personnel initially reported several vehicles scattered along an area about the size of a football field with one rolled over and another laying on the side.
After further investigation, responders determined only two vehicles involved. The other vehicles had pulled over to render aid and were not involved in the crash.
The site cleared about midnight. All lanes are open.
