UPDATE: U.S. 60 Blocked by Cattle Truck Crash in Ballard County near 4mm between Wickliffe and Barlow

PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 25, 2022) – Ballard County 911 Dispatch reports U.S. 60 continues to be blocked near the 4 mile marker due to a cattle truck crash between Wickliffe and Barlow.
The truck was hauling 72 steers. At this time, about 40 steers have been recovered. The recovery crew believes as many as 25 steers are on the loose near the crash site just west of Barlow.
Estimated duration is now approximately 3 hours or about 9 p.m., CST.
Detour between Wickliffe and Paducah is via KY 121, KY 286 and U.S. 62.
