Traffic Advisory: High Water Over KY 1, KY 1654, KY 854 in Carter and Boyd Counties
Please don't drive through high water
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (11:30 AM, Jan. 1, 2022) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews report high water over state highways in Carter and Boyd counties this morning:
- Carter County: Water blocking KY 1 at Beech Grove near Grayson, milepoints 9-10; and water over KY 1654 near the Boyd County line
- Boyd County: Water over the road at Rush at the KY 1654 and KY 854 intersection
High water signs have been placed on highways impacted by flooding. Motorists are reminded to never drive through high water or pass barricades - turn around, don't drown.
