I-24 Westbound Restricted to One-Lane at 45mm in Lyon County Due to Truck Fire

PADUCAH, Ky. (Dec. 3, 2021) – Kentucky State Police report Interstate 24 WESTBOUND is restricted to one-lane at the 45 mile marker in Lyon County due to a truck fire.
The truck was hauling paper products, so it will take time for the fire to cool down to allow the truck to be removed.
This is along I-24 near the Eddyville-Princeton KY 293 Exit 45 Interchange in southern Lyon County.
Estimated duration is 4 hours.
KYTC personnel are assisting the fire response and recovery effort by establishing a work zone lane restriction at the site of the fire.
There is no impact to eastbound traffic.
