Temporary lane closures on I-65 South in Bullitt County set to begin on Saturday, Nov. 13
Contractor to repair concrete slabs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 12, 2021) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of temporary lane closures on Interstate 65 South in Bullitt County, beginning on Saturday, Nov. 13.
A contractor will be performing concrete slab repairs between exit 114 (Ohm Drive/Route 3219) and mile marker 113 near the southbound rest area. The right lane and center lane will be closed from 1 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, to 12 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, to allow for the repairs and ample concrete curing time.
A contractor will be repairing the concrete slabs in the center lane of I-65 South starting at exit 114 and continuing for six miles to mile marker 108 (Wilson Creek Road/KY 733 overpass) as weather permits over a period of five weekends.
Drivers should use caution and heed signage while traveling through the work zone.
